Product Overview

The E-flite F-14 Tomcat Twin 40mm EDF is scaled to be practical for more pilots to afford and fly. Functional variable-sweep wings deliver an authentic experience while AS3X and SAFE Select technologies make it easier to fly than any other Tomcat model yet!

Many RC pilots have dreamed of flying an F-14 one day - and the E-flite F-14 Tomcat Twin 40mm EDF makes that dream a reality! It arrives fully-assembled and nearly ready to fly right out of the box including a factory-installed receiver with exclusive Spektrum AS3X and optional-use SAFE Select technologies. It's ready to bind to your 6+ channel DSMX equipped computer transmitter, plus you'll receive real-time telemetry data including battery voltage, current, motor RPM and more via compatible Spektrum AirWare equipped radios. The twin 40mm fans and brushless outrunner motors are compatible with affordable and common 4S 2200mAh 30+C batteries to deliver an excellent blend of performance and flight times. Full-flying stabs and functional 3-position variable-sweep wings deliver an incomparable flying experience you can't get anywhere else. The fully-molded EPO airframe is durable, lightweight, and factory-finished to pay tribute to the U.S. Navy's VF-2 "Bounty Hunters" squadron. The fixed landing gear plus steerable nose wheel makes it easy to taxi, takeoff and land on smooth surfaces - or remove the landing gear for more speed and vertical performance when hand launching over and landing on grass. Already own a Spektrum transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!

Gear Options

You can use the included fixed landing gear with steerable nose wheel to taxi, take off and land on smooth surfaces. Or you can leave the landing gear off for more speed and vertical performance when hand launching over and landing on grass.
