PRODUCT OVERVIEW

The Hangar 9 Viper 100N Turbine Jet is a perfect choice for experienced pilots moving into giant-scale turbine-powered models for the first time. It's also an excellent choice for seasoned turbine jet pilots looking for great value in a popular design known to offer smooth handling, excellent speed, and aerobatic performance. The airframe is factory-assembled with carbon fibre-reinforced balsa and plywood construction. A comprehensive and complete hardware pack, including a fuel tank, dual-wall stainless steel tailpipe, and assembly hardware, is included in the box.

Large top hatches offer easy access to the turbine, fuel system, and electronics. The electric retract set is available in money-saving combos and is equipped with durable aluminium trailing-link struts and electric brakes, which allow the Viper to take off from and land on smooth. The retract set also includes a retract controller with adjustable brake strength and a test function that allows retract operation without the transmitter. A complete set of optional-use gear doors with mounting hardware and linkages is also included.

Included navigation and landing lights enhance the scale experience and visibility. Plus, the two-piece wing, horizontal stabilizers, vertical stabilizer, and ventral fins can be removed with ease for safer storage and transport in the optional padded wing/stab and fuse bags (sold separately).

Skill Level 4 - Advanced Pilots (Advanced Experience Required)

Skill Level 4 aircraft are intended for advanced pilots who already have the skills to assemble, set up, and fly similar class models. These aircraft often deliver even higher performance while requiring more skill to fly, as well as additional assembly and setup steps, than Skill Level 3 aircraft. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly models like the E-flite Viper 90mm EDF, Hangar 9 Aermacchi MB-339 60-86N Turbine Jet, or other similar class models before attempting to fly the Viper 100N.

Almost-Ready-To-Fly Flexibility

This Almost-Ready-To-Fly (ARF) airframe arrives mostly factory assembled to save you considerable time and effort. Plus, it's ready for you to install a 100N class turbine engine and the electronics you prefer!

Lightweight Construction

Laser-cut, carbon-reinforced balsa and plywood construction with printed covering brings the Viper to life as a scale model that's expertly built to exacting standards.

Large Top Hatch Access

Two hatches open tool and fastener free to reveal the turbine bay, battery trays and receiver compartment. Big openings mean fast hookups, quick troubleshooting, and efficient field-service routines-even when the flight line is busy.

Gear Doors

A complete and optional-use landing gear door set including all linkages and mounting hardware is supplied and to provide a scale finishing touch.

100N Turbine Ready Airframe

This Viper pairs perfectly with modern turbine engines from brands like KingTech and JetCat in the 100N class. The KingTech K-102G4+ is what powered the development and test airframes. It's our preferred engine because it provides a great combination of power, performance, and flight time (larger turbine engines have too much residual thrust for easy landings and are not recommended).

Modular Design

The two-piece wings, stabilizers and ventral fins slip off in seconds thanks to carbon-fibre and aluminum joiner tubes plus convenient hardware. Stow them in the optional (sold separately) padded transport and storage bags.

Electric Retracts and Brakes (HAN-3625CR Only)

The complete retractable landing gear set (sold separately or in money-saving combos) includes durable aluminum trailing-link struts, integrated electric brakes, and a gear controller with brake adjustments that also includes a test button for cycling the landing gear without needing a transmitter.
